Since joining and participating in the NANSEN project in 2023, Paul Sianzovu and his family, have experienced life changing benefits.
''As an early adopter ,i was supported with a set of solar water pump (poly pipe,4 solar panels and water pump).Which am using to grow my winter maize. I now have peace of mind because i am able to provide for my children" he shares.
Paul 34 lives with his wife and 3 children,a boy and two girls in a small village called Siandwazi in chief Sipatunyana Chiefdom in the Southern province of Zambia.Paul joined the NANSEN project as a participant in 2023 ,when Response Network ,started implementing the Project in his area, whose main objective is food production,value addition,food security and improving the nutritional dense of the community households.
Proving to be resilient and a hardworker, paul was identified as an early adopter.Early adopter is an individual who learns from the project and puts to practice the knowledge gained on thier individual piece of land.
Paul own a peace of land near the Community dam in his village.he grows different crops which he sells to the local people and from time to time he takes his produce to Zimba town about 30 kilometres to sell.
This time around Paul planted winter ,maize a 10 kg maize seed which has reached maturity and he has started selling to the community members
Paul looks forward to raise more than k10,000 Zambian kwacha after the sale of his winter maize,through this activity paul is able to provide for his wife and children.
